Airous sat by the edge of the black lake looking into its waters. He really didnt talk to many people at the school. He only did if he had to in class but other than that he sat alone in the common room, the great hall, and in classes.
Once again he found himself out past curfew, enjoying the nights air and the quitness of hogwarts grounds. He liked sitting here alone. Though he had thought that maybe one day he could enjoy the fresh night breeze with someone he could call....friend.
Airous stared down into his own reflection. He hated the feeling of being alone. He wondered why he wasn't so....socail. Airous knew the answer to that. He pulled his knees to his chest amd sighed.
Airous blinked when a shadow crossed his path, to big to be a animal.

A sigh passed a blonde hair boy’s lips as he sat in the library. His wand was lit and lifted towards one of the books. Landon always had a habit of handing homework in late and this time he really did dig himself a hole he couldn’t get out of. He could feel his blood boil as he constantly looked over his parchment with various questions then to a book that was open to precisely where the answer to the question might be. He couldn’t help but grow more and more impatient because the answer couldn’t seem to present itself. Screw this! He thought to himself as he slammed the book shut, ignoring the fact that it obviously caused a terrible noise.
What could keep my mind off this useless homework? Definitely not heading back to the common room, Landon thought to himself as he grabbed the book, his piece of parchment along with his other materials and shoved them into his bag. It was clear that this night wouldn’t end with him accomplishing anything so with that he left the library and made his way passed various corridors and a couple of moving staircases. Landon wasn’t in the mood to remain in the castle and being outside was just the remedy to get rid of stress. As soon as he arrived in front of the oak wooden doors that took him to the castle grounds, Landon looked behind him and around him. He was more than positive that there were Prefects around and if he got caught he’d risk losing House points. He allowed a big sigh pass his lips as he gently swung the doors open and began walking towards the Black lake.
A big smile quickly appeared on his face as he started sprinting towards the lake. Landon wanted to clear his mind and the lake was the ideal place. That is, if you don’t get dragged in by the Merpeople. As Landon came closer to the lake, his smile soon disappeared. He spotted a figure not too far from him. At first he was rather reluctant to make his way towards whoever it was but Landon allowed his instincts to take over in case whoever it was had been in sometime kind of trouble.
“Lumos!” whispered Landon underneath his breathe as he walked towards the figure. From what he could tell, it was a boy perhaps younger than him. He couldn’t be sure since he didn’t socialize much with the younger students of the school. “You alright, mate?” Landon asked while placing an expression of concern.

Suddenly a bright light was immolating him. He was sure it was a professor but when he looked up he recognized a older boy he had seen around the castle. He nodded slowly to answers the boys question, the glanced up at the castle. "I wouldn't have that light on, " he warned "who knows who else in out here. The moonlight will give you enough light to see once your eyes adjust." Airous explained. He didn't know if this boy had ever snuck out late before but by the way he was acting, that would be a no.
He looked at the older boy again. He was in Gryiffendor by what his robes said. So hopefully he wasn't here to toss him into the lake like so many others had done. Airous noticed the load of books he was carrying. "Late night studying?" he asked the boy almost humorously. Who would want to study at this time of night?
Airous turned away from the boy a flung a rock into the lake. It made a small splash as the ripples of water bounced away from where the rock had hit the water. He sighed not caring if the boy was going to toss him into the lake, but wishing he would do it soon and get it over with.
