Persephone stood in the Middle Courtyard, leaning against the outer walls of the transfiguration classroom. It wasn't a particularly pleasant day to be standing in the courtyard prior to a lesson, but she found that she needed a minute of thought before going in. Persephone was a good student, she made sure of it, but her transfiguring abilities had always been rather lacking compared to other areas of magic. She had promised herself that she would ask Professor d'Faux for help in improving her skills. Finally, she had; it was a good thing, to be sure, but Persephone still found herself disappointed in herself for requiring any assistance. Thus, she needed a brief moment before being faced with such a shortcoming.
Inhaling deeply, Persephone reached into her bag, pulling out her wand and textbook. She tightened her Slytherin scarf before turning around and opening the door to the classroom. Stepping inside, she saw that there were no other students in the room, much to her relief. She set down her things at one of the front desks, then taking a seat, patiently waiting for the lesson to begin.

Teaching was steadily becoming a rather enjoyable thing for Dimitri. Not only was he constantly around his little sister but he could easily grow accustomed to watching students grow in magical ability. It was quite fascinating sights to witness. In truth had he not been using the occupation as a cover he might have seriously considered staying in such a position for a length of time. Still, it was rather amusing to have students in their first years come into the classroom looking positively terrified of him. True he was rather large in bulk but he was hardly frightening in his opinion. It was only his heritage in him and his father had been even larger than he was, if not shorter.
Dimitri was hardly a patient man, which made one question why on Earth would he choose to place himself around children. Why'd he'd even started teaching made one question even further why he'd tutor as well. His priorities really seemed to be quite conflicting, however he had made himself available to help particular students in need. Or rather, those that applied themselves to the work he'd assigned. Children who hadn't might as well run along begging to a Professor who cared how sorry they were for playing around in his classroom while others tried to learn. He liked everything far too orderly for such an occurrence as a child turning a porcupine into a hat. Even at the precise time that one of his students had entered the eldest d'Faux was fiddling with placing the supplies needed for the tutoring session.
Clearly noting how the girl appeared with a rather broad smirk upon his face. It was no secret that he was not the most academically inclined student in Durmstrang. Quite the opposite in fact with anything that didn't have direct relation to the use of a wand. The simple fact that he had his own shortcomings and now was to help a bright student fix her own, was somewhat of an ego boost. Though he'd never admit it. Clearing his throat as he stood back up. "Miss Coslett, I suppose I wasn't expecting you just yet. However, since you are her perhaps you can explain just exactly what it is you are having issues with?"

Persephone had to avoid berating herself at Professor d'Faux's words. She was early. She hated being early. She preferred to be on time, and when the situation allowed it, was okay with being late. But if she was more than a few minutes early, then she tended to feel awkward. Out of every little thing that could get to her, timing just happened to be the one.
"I'm sorry if I interrupted anything," she apologized. She had half the mind to tell him that she would come back later, but his suggestion that she tell him what she was having difficulty with kept her quiet and in place. "Thank you for taking the time to help me outside of class."
Persephone set her bag on the floor before opening her textbook and flipping to the section that she needed. "I'm having a bit of trouble with conjuration. I understand the concept, but I just haven't had much luck with it in the past."
