I think that movie totally outclassed all the other HP movies in sheer awsomeness. I saw it in IMAX and my hands were like clenched in my coat pocket for the first fifteen minutes of that movie. There are a few things I object too, the casting of Narcissa Malfoy (She has completely blonde Hair Damn it, and is younger ) . I was disappointed when it ended but they did a good job with the ending .

Agreed, what was with that casting?? If that was an attempting to get you to visually connect Narcissa and Bellatrix... FAIL.
Anyone else loathe the random let's make Harry and Hermione NAKED with each other? Come on... it would have worked clothed just as well. -.-
I have to add that when I read the book, I honestly LAUGHED when Dobby died. It was just funny in that "saw it coming" sort of way. But the way they portrayed Dobby in this movie and that epicness of that escape scene, actually made me feel sorry for Dobby. I felt like they finally really started to connect with all the characters and give them realistic depth rather than be so 2-dimensional they are just annoying.
Shame they didn't start all the character work in earlier films... and this is the same director so I have to ask: what happened on 5 and 6? They were awful in my opinion and yet this one was brilliant... Doesn't feel like the same people and yet... it was. Go figure.

Orange, you really are evil. I bawled when I read the book. Like I literally had to close the book and stop reading, as my vision was so blurred by tears.
However, quite the opposite to you, I almost laughed during the movie. (Mostly because the person next to me was trying not to cry *cough, cough*)
But I agree on the FAIL of the 5th and 6th movies. There was too much for one movie each. The decision to make 7 two movies was FANTASTIC. They should have spent the time to develop the characters earlier in the series as you have said Orange.
Was it just me or did the 3 brothers scene remind anyone else of Coraline? I would have forgotten I was watching HP except for Emma's narration.
All in all my rating is EPIC on the fail to awesome scale. But the best part was at the end was when the person sitting next to me, (I won't say any names *cough, cough*) announced that they had cried 4 times during the movie. *giggles and forces self to finish homework*

Yeah the casting was rather horrible with Narcissa. However they did make you feel very connected with Dobby (probably so that when they killed him it made people sad). I was rather disappointed with 5 and 6 myself and it floors me that this one is sooooo good compared to the others. I think that the split was a great Idea like nna said and on a scale of one to ten in awsomefullness it deserves a 3uo984ryw3o9yr9usdhcod954798346593862o87yr94ytr93yfg000000000
